SiC crystal growth in transition metal silicide melts was investigated by using spontaneous infiltration and solution methods. In the infiltration experiments, SiC powder preforms were infiltrated with FexSiy (Fe3Si, Fe5Si3 and FeSi) and CoSi melts. The dissolution and precipitation of SiC led to SiC crystals growth in the infiltrated Fe5Si3 and CoSi melts, SiC particles coalescing in FeSi and free carbon precipitation in Fe3Si. In the solution experiments, carbon from the graphite crucible dissolved in and reacted with FeSi2 and Ti2.3Si7.7 to form SiC crystals. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman scattering spectrometer were employed to investigate SiC crystals growth. Based on the investigation, the effect of solution content on the SiC crystal growth, the growth mechanisms in both methods and prototypes of the SiC crystals are also discussed. A traveling wave solution to the Aw-Rascle traffic flow model that includes the relaxation and diffusion terms is investigated. The model can be approximated by the well-known Kortweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. A numerical simulation is conducted by the first-order accurate Lax-Friedrichs scheme, which is known for its ability to capture the entropy solution to hyperbolic conservation laws. Periodic boundary conditions are applied to simulate a lengthy propagation, where the profile of the derived KdV solution is taken as the initial condition to observe the change of the profile. 基于二维热弹性力学理论,研究均匀热荷载作用下层合简支梁的弹性力学解.首先导出均匀温度场中满足控制微分方程和两端简支边界条件的单层梁的弹性力学解,然后利用层间界面位移和应力必须连续的条件,递推得到底层梁与顶层梁间的位移和应力关系.最后根据层合梁上下表面的边界条件确定待定系数,带回递推公式得到整个层合梁的应力和位移分布.本文方法的计算结果有很好的收敛性.与有限元软件的结果对照说明了本文方法的精确性.最后,研究了不同的变温对层合简支梁的位移和应力的影响,结果显示每个层间界面在x方向的应力是不连续.随着温度的升高,梁的最大位移相应地增大.温度越高,位移沿厚度变化的速率越大. 相似文献

In this paper, based on a Riemann theta function and Hirota's bilinear form, a straightforward way is presented to explicitly construct Riemann theta functions periodic waves solutions of the isospectral BKP equation. Once the bilinear form of an equation obtained, its periodic wave solutions can be directly obtained by means of an unified theta function formula and the way of obtaining the bilinear form is given in this paper. Based on this, the Riemann theta function periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are presented. The relations between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are strictly established and asymptotic behaviors of the Riemann theta function periodic waves are analyzed by a limiting procedure. In this study, the metastable zone width of potassium tetraborate tetrahydrate was determined for four different temperatures and cooling rates. The induction period of potassium tetraborate tetrahydrate in aqueous solution was examined according to polythermal method by using visual observation. The induction period, which changes inversely proportional to the nucleation rate has been used to determine the interfacial tension between the potassium tetraborate tetrahydrate and aqueous solution. By using interfacial tension, the nucleation parameters such as Gibbs free energy change for the formation of critical nucleus, ΔG*, free energy of formation, ΔG, radius of critical nucleus, r and number of molecules in the critical nucleus, i* has been calculated. The effect of Li+ and Ca2+ impurities on metastable zone width has been studied. The metastable zone width of aqueous solution of potassium tetraborate tetrahydrate decreases with increasing impurity concentrations.
